My name is Dr. Kateryna Fedosova, and I hold the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business at the Odesa National University of Technology in Ukraine (formerly Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies). I have over 15 years of experience in Hotel and Restaurant Business and Marketing, along with founding a consulting company dedicated to launching and promoting Ukrainian restaurants. At my university, I am responsible for instructing a range of courses including Restaurant Management, Information and Communication Technology in the Hotel and Restaurant Business, Culinary Arts, and other pertinent topics within the hospitality and tourism sector. My commitment to academic excellence has been accompanied by a strong presence in international conferences, where I have had the privilege to lecture and present in various countries such as Great Britain, Portugal, Germany, Estonia and many others.

Regrettably, the ongoing war in Ukraine since February 24, 2022, has presented challenging circumstances. The nation faces daily air raid sirens and the imposition of martial law, affecting various aspects of our lives. Consequently, my consulting company’s operations have been brought to a standstill due to the closure of restaurants, leading to a loss of all ongoing projects. Given that this venture constituted my primary source of income and the salary structure at Ukrainian universities is not sufficient, my financial stability has become precarious.

In light of these circumstances, I am humbly reaching out to explore the possibility of securing temporary employment at your esteemed university for a period ranging from several weeks to a few months (Erasmus, Guest Leecturing, Researce Projects or any other types). My proficiency in English, combined with my extensive experience in lecturing and presenting, uniquely position me to contribute positively to your institution. I have conducted guest lectures in English at various institutions in Europe. I have over 100 publications in the field of hospitality and tourism, including textbooks and monographs, and I am a member of several organizations, including the International CHRIE, La Foundation pour la Formation Hoteliere, and the Ukrainian South Chef Association.
